I noticed a growing phenomenon, more and more games available in online version.

It seems that the marketing people understood that online game are great promoter, let’s take the Ben 10 TV series for an instance, it is a very successful show, even my own kids are watching it. now, try to google for ben10 games, you will be surprised from the number of results, millions of web pages will be suggested to you by google search engine.

If you try one of those sites you will probably see that all the games are online, not even one for download, I think that is a trend which will be more and more acceptable, the games will be online, no downloads, that way the games is fast, available on every computer (browser actually) and usually free.

I tried the same thing with shooting games, once again, all the games were online games, to be honest, I found myself playing those games for hours, I like those sniper games where you get a gun and shoot zombies or bad people. makes me feel like Rambo :-)

The last test I made was for some classic games, I wanted to find out if the old games have newer versions too, I wasn’t surprised to find out that the answer is yes, they do. I found online versions to Pacman, Ms Pacman, frogger, tetris and even for 9 dragons and Donkey Kong.

It seems to me that this phenomenon will take more and more niches and soon we will hardly find games for download.
